What's wrong with my phone m?

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 it works great but I got a 9ft charger that glows in the dark it's brand new I just bought it a few weeks ago. When I charge my phone it either charges super slow or it charges the battery percentage backwards. I know most phones don't work with a single charger but I have another one that's a single charger it charges perfectly I don't get why my light up one won't. What's wrong with it ? How can I fix this ?

  • the newer samsumgs have fast charging (I know the s6 had it so I'm assuming the s5 does) so they charge very slow with third party USBs. it's probably not the phone,  try using a Samsung charger with it because that is probably the problem

    Many phones are picky about not using their charger. They normally give an message saying to use a genuine Samsung charger.
