Have you ever had your own phone number 'spoofed'?

Spoofing is when telemarketers dial random numbers using your area code and one of the three digit exchange numbers from your area. The last four are random. They used my phone number recently as the spoof number. My wife answered it and thought it was my son. (Same name as mine.)

Probably. I never answer the phone so I don't know.  I just erase the calls.

We  all have a toll-free direct line.  No worries.  LOL

Unless it is OUR GOD on AnswerMug.  That God can reach me on here any time she likes.

Yes, several times. Recently I was called repeatedly by a scammer using my own number. I learned that my phone does not allow me to block my own number. I think that needs to change because no one calls their own number so blocking it makes perfect sense.
