Those who speak extemporaneously about varied things are not doing so from ARTIFICE.
HOWEVER those who "extemporaneously" say the same things in the same way with the same rhythm and the same cadence to the same crowds waiting for the same responses to the same things do not ad lib.
They have MEMORIZED what worked before to hook the gullible and there is no need to fix what ain't broke. Repeat repeat repeat pause for applause and cheers and jeers repeat repeat repeat repeat pause for applause and cheers and jeers repeat repeat repeat repeat pause for applause and cheers and jeers repeat repeat repeat repeat......ad infinitum. But you have to be there. It loses a lot when it is simply reduced to words on a page. Ya gotta be there and FEEL the rage that comes to the audience from ON STAGE and FEEL the HATRED of the perps attneding vilifying the sameoldsamesoldsameold scapegoats and feel each other...sure. Why not paw each other while you're at it?. Get a few cheap thrills. What could it hurt fer cryin' out loud when you're in THAT crowd?
