Ya gotchure choice. TRUST people until they prove otherwise or DISTRUST people until they prove otherwise. Which do YOU do? Why?

I trust no one in most instances, this has saved my life and bacon too many times to count.  People have to prove they are trustworthy, just common sense. 

One caveat, it is situation dependent.  Here are a few examples:

A.  Work/career people look after themselves especially if they are from the NYC Tri State area.  There are a few other places of origin for some folks who I would never trust because it is in their ingrained culture

B.  For sports activities personal or my kids I will trust you to do right until you proive me wrong.  Once you prove yourself wrong there is no coming back.

C.  For the kids school activities most parents will do as they promise.  It might not be your expectation, however they have fulfilled since you gave them a blank slate
