If so we're all doomed. If he has the LEGAL authority to blow up the world you know he will be unable to stop himself. That power will consume him and he will be forced to test it.
One point I found interesting - declaring war "activates" the international rules of war. So if you don't actually declare a war, you can say those rules aren't in place. That can come in handy, when looking at War Crimes (I guess). "What war crime? There wasn't a declared war, so there couldn't be WAR crimes."
I doubt it. I'd ask Congress for an increase in taxes to pay for military activities, rather than increasing debt.
I'd also ask to cut our military to a reasonable peace-time level. I mean, do we really need 11 active aircraft carriers? (considering there are 41 global, operated by 13 countries ... or between 2-3 carriers per nation, except the US) No, if we weren't focused on bullying the rest of the world, we wouldn't need the military we have.

Ya gotta be kidding me Walt. Surely it cannot be that incoherent and fuzzy and demonic. If so then all the conversation in the world is useless. No investigation will achieve anything. If the powers that be WANT wars they will fashion "rules" to aid them and abet them. There must be a worldwide consensus of fascist despot dictator racists. A common goal. A vision of perfection according to them. It is always darkest before the dawn. For how long? Can that sliver or that moment be frozen in time and become our forever? SIGH. I wonder. I'm so confused Zack. We had a method or plan or protocol about how we handle potential wars and now we just ignore it because it is inconvenient? I don't get it. It appears to all be a dog and pony show. For entertainment? I'm not laughing. SIGH. So we go to war but never officially call it that? We're then free to do whatever we wish and are not bound by things like the Geneva Convention? How clever of us to have figgered that out! :( Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)
