Both, but when I look back on my life, I realize how incredibly fortunate I am to have been born the U.S.A, to have a loving family and friends and how much better my life is than many of the people in the world.

Ditto! I'm first generation American Spunky and I am so grateful to my grandparents for making the goal of being an American Citizen their dream after they came to "the golden shores" from the old country.
