"The photos at the border do not reflect who we are". Of course they do. It is whom we are precisely! Isn;t it nicey nicey?

When you are in denial you can block out anything.

I think God put in our basic survival chemistry this element of denial so we can survive such things as the horror of a concentration camp or jail or torture for months o0r even years.

But anything that is in our human makeup, can be an anomaly.  When you use this DENIAL factor as a tool to survive, it keeps you going and lets you live.  When you misuse this Denial factor, you have a border situation.  Kids can die.  Adults can lose their kids forever.  What do we care?  It is the fault of the opposing party.  

And if you DARE to keep posting a picture over and over?  It just causes ANGER because people don't want to see it.  People do NOT want to see this picture.  

They get angry and shout STOP it and they look away and get disgusted. NOT AT THE FACT but at the poster.  This is the disease that has taken over America.  The entitled opinion that as an American, you are supposed to have the government take care of this messy business.  All politicians are liars and these people should stay where they are.  

That is their answer.  OVER AND OVER. And no pictures will help.  I doubt if real dead kids on their doorstep would help.  They would just blame someone else and shut the door.
