Do homo saps have an automatic BLOCKING MECHANISM within their "brains" that prevents certain words from registering?

They do not hear words that are contrary to their impassioned rigid beliefs. Those words never get through to some. Maybe they get through but have become transmogrified. The words are "The sb prez STINKS". What the sb prez supporters hear? "The prez thinks". So perhaps that is why they never hear or see or grasp the entirety of what is really going on around them. They simply are not hooked up sufficiently to grasp comprehend understand the entirety of what is out there. It never gets through to them so they are very happily certain they are very right very justified very self-righteous in their support for the sb prez who stinks. They perceive  him as the " prez who thinks. SIGH.
