The blind who touch the elephant at different spots "see" it as only a partial bit of what it REALLY is. SO?

Same exact thing happens with a question asked. Some people zero in a partial bit of it and run with it as if were the ENTIRETY when it is only a triviliality or tertiary portion. Focus on one tree only and you will never grasp the scope of the forest. Look at a tapestry and focus only on ONE THREAD. Is it done purposely or is it a cognitive defect?
