There are many kinds of love. In your opinion is there a BEST? If so, which and if not why?

  • Ahh, love.  The greatest power there is.
    I'm going to fall back on my faith and belief in scripture which says...

    John chapter 15, verses 12-13
    12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends.

    This is a selfless love.  It is a love that puts others before oneself.  This is an example of the ultimate act of love.  Christ laid down his life for us and if we are to be Christ like then we should only hope to love others so deeply, be they family, friends, or otherwise.  This, to me would be a love beyond all others.

    I think TRUE LOVE is always selfless TD. ALWAYS. It places the interests of the beloved ahead of and above one's own self-interest.  Thank you for your thought reply and Happy Tuesday to thy! :)
