I assume you're referring to the Billy Joel song, "She's always a woman".
He's describing the quirks of a particular woman. These "quirks" may come off as unfeminine" (not the actions of a stereotypical woman female). Yet no matter how "unfeminine" they may be, he sees her as a "real" woman. Love songs don't have to have the words "i love you" in them. There're many ways to say "I love you" without actually using those exact words. Just the way he describes the woman in this song shows he loves her. No matter how she acts, how strange and "unladylike it may be, it can't deter his love. In other words, he looks past her outward actions and sees her true heart. that is the essence of a love song.
I would be deeply hurt and offended if anyone wrote such a song about me Shuhak. I don't think he loves her at all. He points up all the flaws and quirks and irritations and sneaky actions which are numerous and not remotely flattering. Where are all the offsetting good things about her? No. That is certainly not what I would consider to be a love song. And IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE YOU SAY SO. So we disagree but I expect that is simply due to gender. Men don't always know when they are hurting women. The dipstick who wrote the song is clearly one of them. Thank you for your reply Shuak. I'm a gal. You're a guy. We approach things from different mindsets. It's normal I guess.
