Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» The massive ICE RAIDS threat didn't happen yet. Is the threat to relocate the USDA to Kansas City another bullsh** LIE?
Because? You aren't a fan of either coast and prefer the HEARTLAND? I've never heard anyone say that so can you 'splain yourself? Thank you for your reply Walt! :)
The federal government should be located near the center of the country, so that it is equally accessible to everyone. Washington DC is pretty centered on the eastern seaboard, partially for that reason.
You mean so folks can visit it more conveniently? Is the capitol of your state in the middle of it Walt? Sacramento is way up north. I'm gonna ask. I mean if it's good for the country it should be good for every state. Thank you for your reply. Once again the question will give you blind credit.

There's a town ... Oysterville, WA ... that was once the county seat of Pacific County, Washington. They were in a dispute with South Bend, WA about who should be the county seat. One night, armed men from South Bend came and took all the records from the Oysterville Courthouse and transported them to South Bend. They also burned down the courthouse, so Oysterville couldn't "resteal" the records.
To this day, South Bend is the county seat ... Oysterville has no courthouse or town hall, and few residents.
