Where can you get an iPod Touch battery ?

My daughter wants to get a new battery for her iPod 6. I heard you can get a new battery from the Apple store but the only one is in Columbus. We have a phone repair shop in town here but I think they only fix iPhones she's not getting a phone she's only 7. How do you change an iPod battery ? Where do you get them ? And how much are they ?

    I would try the phone store they probably have access to iPod batteries.
