Is it the media's job to call out lies, or should they just report what was said?

    Part of good journalism is being critical and research the stuff they report. If it's merely making a summary a lot of us would be very well suited for the job. Unfortunately we don't appreciate the critical and in-depth going journalism much these days. I guess it takes too long to get through such articles, and a lot of the mainstream media will call it biased as soon as it is questioning a matter and not just reporting it. We live in a time where a selling heading is covering the matters these days. Explains why politicians are so superficial. They can get through with it thanks to the mainstream media and to those using the media as information source.
