    Another of your trick questions?

    Some of my stats fall in the middle of the bell curve right at the top of the bell's arch.

    But even where a few of my stats fall outside the norms, I've so far been unable to attain any better than mediocre.

    I put it down to early emotional conditioning.
    Even now - still striving to overcome it.
    I really would love to achieve something worthwhile and beneficial.
    Rapidly running out of time.
    Probability of success close to zilch.

    Worthwhile and beneficial. You have done so here...and far above mediocre. I believe you said your are a teacher.  Ask Ari. I'll bet he would say you have done many things worthwhile and beneficial.
