An Answermug long-time friend said futurely water will be the most precious commodity. It is already being referred to as BLUE GOLD. She said that the Bush family is already in the business of identifying and buying up potable water sources and when the time comes will charge outrageous prices to folks for the water the Bush Family OWNS. So I know there are billionaires (Bill and Melinda Gates for example) who donate hundreds of millions of dollars EACH YEAR to charitable causes. Why not get all charitable billionaires together NOW to work on how to provide FREE water when the time comes? If they are going to donate anyway what better thing could they do for humanity than provide free potable water? Did I answer your question? You say no. I'd ask why but it's irrelevant. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday to you ru.
My answer probably is irrelevant. Even on their best day the amount of money held by the rich people wouldn't come even close to bringing a perpetual water supply to the world let alone feed the world like some think they should. They would go broke within the first 6 months. They may be rich but their money supply isn't endless. Many want to open the borders, give free health care, free college, etc. But I ask the question, Who will pay for all of this free stuff? Many answers and say Well the rich people can. Tax them 80 or 90%. When the rich run out of money after 6 months, then who will pay for the free stuff? You, me, who?
