Let's put it this way. He takes. Trump likes to acquire without paying. So what do jerks like that do? They try and get all they can from anyone else who has something to offer. POWER is a biggie. Trump knows that if he gets in bed with despots, he will have at least a scintilla of their cooperation when he doles out America to them piece-by-piece by way of allowing them to break the laws, get him re-elected by helping to hack things, and just doing deals like McConnell did with Putin to allow plants of Russia's into Kentucky. You know, little things like that.
Since he cannot negotiate, he winds up giving away all his toys. And we are stuck with an ineffective ruler who wants to play with the big Crooks.
It's like letting Ivanka Trump talk to Theresa May and Jared Kushner doing deals with Israel. ?????
