Are you SURE? That does NOT sound like Trump. It would be more like him to advocate SANCTIONS on Canada for daring to compete with USA's price gouging of drugs.
Everyone is happy that marijuana is legal, by the way, but no one really talks about how much it COSTS to be a patient and how expensive the meds are.
That is small potatoes though when people who are diabetic are dying because they cannot afford insulin.
This is a TRUMP nightmare that he will lie about and deceive the public morons to think he is going to HELP them in their plight for better health care. THAT WILL BE THE DAY.
There was a story on NPR the other day about this couple's medical bill for the husband having to go in 2-3 times a week for some diabetes treatments. They were told, by their insurance company, there was no "in network" provider near them. They had to get the treatments - and got a bill for over $500k ... because nobody could tell them what it would cost before the treatment. (Which is stupid, the provider knows exactly how much it will cost.)
Thankfully, they were able to find a local provider that was "in network" ... and am fighting the bill with the other provider and their insurance company, because they were lied to by the insurance company.
People are DYING because of bull like this. It is hard to fathom. But it is true. If they don't resolve this "bill from hell" their credit is ruined. If they don't resolve this bill, maybe other insurance companies won't deal with them either.
Please don't think I meant I do not believe you. Of course, I do. I just wanted a little more meat. I'll look it up and see what we can see.
