Will WebP image format become standard?

Let's work on converting gif-heads to APNG first.

All browsers will show the .gif and .png files. 

You'll have to view in Chrome if you want to see all the animations.

This is about those animated pictures you love to post and making them look better while having a smaller file size (ie faster loading on web pages.)

Standard .GIF file = 223KB

Not so standard .PNG file = 188KB

The webP file sizes fall somewhere in the middle of the gifs and pngs. 

That was one of Spiderman's nemeses.  I believe he was also a doctor. 

I can't see the difference.

I'll just use Flash for now.

The quality in these is the same, but one is 16% smaller in file size. 

iPhone 7 will now support Flash. That's the big news.
