    Did you know that when they first started making them they only had nooks and no crannies? They added those a few years later.

    I just bought a pack of these things and I am in ecstacy.  It is everything I love about Thomas and they left everything I hate about bagels out of the recipe.  I HATE bagels. So people who like that dense, flavorless doughy wad of bread won't like these.  They can be used for much more than just bagels.  You can use this as a good floor for a nice sandwich.  Randy would love it.

    No.  I don't buy bagels anymore.  The last time I had one I bought it still warm at a shop.  Blueberry.  Delish.

    These are pretty nice because they are firm but airy.  Not dense like the normal glob of dough.  Your blueberry one does sound really good.

  • I've been buying these for years.  The "Everything" bagel, thin serving.  Its got all kinds of seeds and stuff.  kinda grainy.  I hate myself for loving them...because bread!

    Well, a bagel that isn't dense isn't really a bagel.  ;)  
    That's like saying angel food cake, but better because it's dense and heavy.

  • You'll have to take it up with the makers and marketers of the product.  BTW, the bread actually is dense its just not thick cut.  The slice of the bread has nothing to do with the density of it.
