Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Which is more logical? Reading all the books to find all the answers to all the questions that occur to you or asking others who know?
I guess it would depend on how in depth you want the answer to be. A person could give you a quick summary, answering the question ... but a book would be better for a detailed answer. Especially if it had to reference the work of multiple individuals.
Here's the backstory. I asked a question. Someone answered and told me there were bazillions of books about that subject. I replied that I won't live long enough to read all the books that have all the answers I seek so I elect to take a shortcut to chat NOW with those who already know. You tell me which is more logical? Thank you for your reply Walt. Now when I am VERY INTERESTED in something I always research it. But you see the volumes of questions I ask because they occur to me. How could I possibly read all those books to find all those answers in my lifetime unlessl GOD were to grant me immortality? Even then my eyesight is already failing. So I do what I believe is the most efficient way to to get what I want. ASK and ye shall receive. Thank you for your reply. What would you do? What do you do?
