Has any prez wannabe ever been charged with Treason? What would it take for that to occur? What does a traitor have to say/do to be considered treasonous and working against his/her own country?

They could leak classified information or they could accept millions in bribes from foreign nations and companies that directly funded ISIS.Or they could simply see that our cold war with russia is over and not blame russia for random things, I think that is what you want it to mean.

ITpro, when I was on EP, an Australian girl told me that her politics teacher told her that the cold war never ended, and I agree. Putin is a communist on the East German model, and an enemy of the west. Haven't you heard of the way he is constantly testing our defences?

Not since Vice President Aaron Burr was acquitted of treason in the early 19th century. Trials for such are few and far between because it is difficult to prove beyond the reasonable doubt of a rational person. As we've seen in presidential impeachments, it's difficult enough to prove "high crimes and misdemeanors" as stated in the constitution, much less treason.
