America is the SUM of its PARTS.
PERIOD.
WARTS and ALL.
America was like the most beautiful woman who could have a wart and no one would notice because she WAS so beautiful inside and out.
NOW?
We cannot see the woman any more. We see a lot of warts that have turned into cancer.
Maybe we should have had that first wart diagnosed and treated long before this mass breakout. Maybe we should have treated the American Indian with respect. Maybe reverence for the LAND was a better idea than building a golf course on Greenland.
Maybe we should have not captured black people from other countries and made SLAVES of them? MAYBE?
