Here's a DOWNSIDE to changes to questions/answers. Unless you limit changing to typos you can make others look like dam* fools. Have you?

You can change anything you write/wrote when you want without limitation no matter how old or long ago. The honorable would hopefully limit that to correcting TYPOS. The others? Hey whatever it takes, right? Anything goes, right? What is the upside of limitless changing of anything?  Anyone?

    I added to my answer. I had posted it quickly because  I was busy.  I did not edit it to make it look as though it was longer the whole time. (If I was going to do that I would have made it much longer than the 1 sentence)
     I was still on the page and it had not been refreshed to show there was a reply to my post. I added to my answer 30 min later.  That is when I seen the comment on my answer. 


    The system shows when a post is edited and when it was posted.
