It is totally possible.  Bees range.  If they free range in areas that are not rife with chemicals and have clean soil, the odds are that it is organic and not infused with chemicals.

However, "organic" technically to me, does not include animals.

There is no such thing as organic beef or organic dairy.

It comes from an animal, it is not really organic.  Not in the sense of being HEALTHY at least.

I disagree about the animal part of your response. If the cattle eat only that which has been grown 'organicly', they be considered 'organic'.

Chemicals in the diet such as antibiotics and hormones should keep such a cow from being labeled organic, don't you think?

By following them.  By having organic plants near for them to pollinate.

We can also test honey for chemical residues

I meant plants that haven't been sprayed with pesticide, or have chemical fertilizers used on them.  That's how I garden.

Looks like they have their own Bee Farms.
Fields of organically grown flowers for the bees to work.
