I have a low IQ DEPT.: How do people answer questions on here, but they do not appear on the page as to who is on here? How do you do that

Thank you.  I see no reason to do that, but then again, I am worried about editing the questions, so I guess it is up to the Mugger.  Kind of weird.

Eh, some people just like to be incognito. Maybe they like to pop on to write letters without people knowing they're here or they don't want messages while they're answering questions or they don't want people to know they're lurking, but not engaging. It's just a preference.
