I wonder how many folks are drawn to being cops because they want to "serve and protect" the public and how many just LOVE guns?

Do non-gun people ever become cops? I guess they can have desk jobs. Would being a cop ever appeal to you? What kind? A street cop or detective or desk bound? Are they all required to go to cop school and graduate?

    If a person opposes using a gun then there are jobs they should not get. Law enforcement, soldier, Conservation Agent, etc.

    Of course they have to pass the schooling to get the job.
