YOu gotta hand it to this SHOWMAN/CROOK, he has managed to not let one week go by without commiting a major crime or blunder

If I include the "blunder" in the question, it changes things considerably.  Now I can say that not one DAY has gone by.   I do not have to limit this to "Not one week has gone by".  


He has not had one day in office or probably in his real life, where he has not committed a MAJOR faux pas.  OR WORSE.
