Being judge, jury and executioner...... that's a lot of power for one person to wield. "I disagree with you... BE GONE!" What if the one with the power was wrong? What if that persons standards are erroneous? No thank you... that's one power I do NOT want to have.
I doubt that anyone is going to argue with the one who has the power to OFF. Usually such power is grabbed by a despot or a dictator who finds ways to "get rid of" dissidents/"enemies"/those who disagree. Speaking up is dangerous in such societies. Until more powerful ones motivated by GOOD step up to vanquish the OFFER it is what we live with every day. MIGHT IS RIGHT. No one questions it. Many submit to it and roll over for it and support it and enable it and facilitate it and protect it and fight for it! WHY? Because they are TERRIFIED that if they don't they will be OFFED. Right always exists with evil. You comply or you die. Sigh. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. I have turned down promotions which would put me IN CHARGE of others. I am not cut out for that. So I would not be cut out for having any kind of power over others. Some lust after it. I ran away from it multiple times. Different strokes.
