With my whole heart and best intentions I would not make an adequate president. Age has me in its throes. Are you getting better as you age?

Is your memory improving? How about your energy and stamina and strength? That's getting a lot better as you get older? What about your vision and hearing and balance? Better than ever or is age taking its toll? Do you sleep long and well at night or do you keep waking up? Do you take naps during the day not intentionally but because your body orders you to do so?

However well-intentioned and BRILLIANT the old are they cannot turn back the clock on any level for any length of time.

I don't know why anyone would want to be president at any age. It is a thankless job for good people to take on. For those who aren't good it's a great job since there are no boundaries no limits no blocks no tackles. .

How old are you and if offered the job would you take it on?

Being old isn't a useful thing to be. How many things that are very old do you go out of your way to buy? 100 year old wine? 1000 year old artifact?

I wouldn't make a good president no matter may age.  And I would never take the job.

I'm not "old" ... yet (although sometimes I feel like it).  In fact, you'd probably consider me a "kid".   While Some Places consider me a "senior citizen", I do not.  Sure my eyesight is deteriorating and I have many aches and pains, but I'm not in that bad a shape for being a mere 55.

That means that you have a lot more intelligence than the person in the oval. At least you know and have the heart, mind and wisdom to not let greed take you.

Me too neither Shuhak but I was sharper and stronger and more energetic a few decades ago than I am now. I am not complaining mind you. I am truly blessed to be in the shape I'm in at my age. I am exceedingly grateful. But I have slowed down. My memory was affected first by the Chemo in 2008 and now it is simply getting older. Also..and this may be a big reason. I have never been interested in competing with anyone for anything. Ever. I never sought to be "better than" anyone but myself. So maybe that plays apart in it too. I think I just had a flash of insite about why that is. I shall ask. Thank you for your reply! :)

Since I am the judge, how would I know if I am right or not.

I am a natural progression of what this body is capable of.  And if I think I did something wonderful, it is only because this body lets me.  This brain, this heart, this mind.  But all that depends on if the system is still functioning.

As far as I know?  I have my doubts as to whether I am better or not, I am definitely more experienced and that may count for something.
