    Buddy Holly had a much shorter career than Dion, who is still performing, I believe.  Who knows how much more he could have achieved if not for his untimely death.

    You are SO correct.  But, I just like Dion's taste in music better than Buddy Holly's that's all I meant.

    I loved them both.  I liked and still like partner dancing like the jitterbug, bop, and Carolina shag.  Dion gave a lot of good jitterbug music.  The bop and shag are better matched with beach music. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at September 17, 2019 11:23 PM MDT
