Thank you sincerely! That is so caring of you!

    Cass Elliot

    God.

One of those who does no wrong for me. I've heard absolutely nothing from her that I haven't liked.

And she along with the other Mamas and Papas -- that group is pure heaven for me. No one -- NO ONE - - has EVER sounded anything like them. Those harmonies and the songs themselves. Make me want to cry sometimes they're so beautiful - - and especially that "Twelve-Thirty/young Girls Are Coming to the Canyon" -- my parents had some of their albums and that song always stopped me in my tracks as a kid. It still does. I'm going to go look for it and post it now.
    :)

Thanks for answering! And thanks for such kindness!

Yeah. I agree. They were the BEST and remind me of California.  California Dreaming. So, 60's.

And while we are at it, here is one of my favorite songs ever.  By my favorite artist ever.

I've never heard this song before.
    This is wild.
I'm amazed sometimes at what artists can do. I never would have guessed this a style that Mitchell would do -- I don't know if I would have known it was her if you hadn't told me. But I recognize her voice immediately. This is wonderful!

This sounds like it could have been released today. I'd take this over anything by Let's-Release-A-New-adnauseum-Song-Every-Day Ed Sheeran.
    :)
(except I do adore his "A-Team" song).

And I remember you had commented on this "I Dreamed I Had To Take a Test" song by Laurie Anderson the last time I posted it a while ago.

Ed Sheerhan made Fire on the Mountain from the Hobbit.  That is  just so good, I forgive him anything he does.

    Ha!
    I don't know that song.

Like your Hobbit song, his "A Team" will always have me adore him, as much as I've disliked pretty much everything else I've heard from him.

I will listen to this for sure.
But right now, I'm listening again to Enya as I get ready to go to sleep.
    :)
Thanks for posting the song -- I'll let you know when I listen.

Yeah, this is sort of nice for me - - which is pretty good for me to say about Sheeran's music, considering I don't like his music at all, other than "A Team" song which I've already said in this thread.
    :)

Pretty bad of me to take over three months to get back and listen to your song!
    :)

I'm glad you listened, SavvyAnsley! Thanks!
Yes, that song is STRANGE! But I love it! Believe it or not, I choreographed a dance for dancers to that short little song! One of my favorite dances I've choreographed. Yes, the dance is as strange as the song. And the dance is as funny and strange as I find the song, too.
What other song has such great lyrics - - "I dreamed I had to take a test at a Dairy Queen on another planet"?
    :)
    Ha!

I've always liked this song you posted. I don't think I've ever seen the music video. A rather sad story to me, it tells visually. I really like that dancing section that starts at 3:50.

The Moody Blues can do little wrong. I know they had some bad B sides, but what they contributed to music is just glorious.

Believe it or not, this song was my introduction to them in the mid-80's. My parents weren't hippies, so I didn't get exposed to any of the groovy 60's stuff until middle/high school. Luckily, many of my friends' parents were much cooler than mine. ;)
