Yep ... there are bullet resistant backpacks, vests, hoodies, jackets, and other items for children. One company predicts they will sell over $5 billion in such equipment by 2025.
Unfortunately, bullet resistant items are not also resistant to blades or needles. So if you want to be protected from both, you have to double-up.
