Some folks think REGIFTING is tacky. They probably think using coupons on items at the market is tacky too. Do you?

If someone gifts me with something I already have and I know someone who would like to have it I see no problem giving it them. Now I usually don't wait for a reason to give a gift. I just say "can you use this" and if they say yes I give it to them. My sister is the exact same way. What's wrong with that?

As for clipping coupons sometimes I save $10 on my purchases. So I'm $10 ahead on something else. I think that's like seeing a $10 bill on the ground and not picking it up but walking right by. That ain't me.

If you use it and then re-gift it ... it's tacky.
If you re-gift it to the person who gave it to you ... it's embarrassing AND tacky.  lol

    If it's new-in-the-box ... I don't see a problem with it.
Of course, ALWAYS check what is in the box is what is shown.
It might be a gag gift.  EG: "Oh, just what we need, a new {x}." - and the box is actually something different.

USE IT AND REGIFT IT? WHO DOES THAT? That isn't tacky that is DISGUSTING! I don't see how you can possibly regift a gift to the person who gifted you unless your memory is mush. Thank you for your reply Walt.
