.
Didn't God make them both?
I think people we are all in different stages of godliness or enlightenment .
On one end we have the guy just starting the journey, he only understand about serving his needs. At the other end we have those who only serve others. The rest of us fall somewhere in the middle.
They're all on the same trip.
I trust that this is an honest question and not a backdoor way of saying that Trump is not a real Christian.Anything that forms a barrier between a person and God, or separates that person from God is sin. People have managed to make an idol of many things including themselves. I think that there's something important to realize in this. First, where a person's treasure is, there the heart is also. You can invest your faith in many things in life that will disappoint and let you down. Faith in your own abilities and attributes will fail because we are flawed from the beginning. I speak not of a healthy trust and confidence, but of self love and the conceit that accompanies it. Secondly, I think anyone can have an intellectual understanding of scripture that's void of heart knowledge. I can understand the teachings of scripture and yet reject it in my own heart and in the spiritual context of my being. We are warned in scripture that God hates a proud look and that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit precedes a fall. So, a narcissist can indulge in self love and self absorption to his or her detriment, missing the growth and maturity that comes with a spiritual relationship with God.
i dont see how either
If the question is valid what difference does it make what the inspiration for it is? It should apply to everyone not Donald Trump and Donald Trump as well. A narcissisit is self-involved self-loving, self-interested, self-promoting to the exclusion of everyone and everything else. If the shoe fits..well then the description fits Donald Trump or no Donald Trump. If you disagree with that I have no problem with it. All my questions are honest. You may not approve of them but that has nothing to do with me or my intention. It is in the eye of beholder. Everything is in the eye of the beholder. You impute value or worthlessness based on your own views. As do I. As does everyone.
