  • No way.  Weathering doesn't happen like that.  It isn't a finial.  Swedish Vikings in the days of dark age petty kingdoms in the woods weren't decorating with large, labor intensive, and expensive finials.  It's the remnants of a fertility cult which are historically known to be strong and numerous in the area at the time.
