If you tackle something for which you are untrained and about which you are ignorant chances are you will fail. Ever done so and succeeded?

Ever surprise yourself with an ability/talent you never knew you had?

I'm like my dad Rosie....I can generally see things and just do it...I find most of the written instructions pretty useless....god knows who writes them....whoever does has very little comunication skills....

i succeed eed in every thing I put my hands on...  I was fascinated at how clever my dad and Granddads  were as soon as I could walk almost....things are never hard to achieve if you have an avid interest in the things you see and want to do...

No honey I disagree. An avid interest coupled with highly intelligent yes. But not everyone can figure things out as easily as you. If interest alone were enough I'd be a quantum physicist. So while we seldom disagree I disagree with you on this issue. The thing is when you are very smart things come more easily to you and we sometimes assume if it's easy for us it's easy for everyone. Nope it isn't! Thank you for your reply D and Happy Wedneday to thee! :)

There are many tradesmen that are simply brilliant at working doing any jobs with their hands Rosie....putting pen to paper or doing any clerical work is a different matter though...
