Can you adapt adjust get used to whatever you have to and move on down the road? Anything you would NEVER do/agree to/adjust/accept?

I live my life, as simply as possible, one day at a time and I adjust and adapt accordingly. No matter how many days God gives me, He gives them to me one day at a time. So when you think about it, today is all I have. That may sound like a cliché, but it’s one of the most basic principles in all of life. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come. All I really have is today. And because it is God that has given these days to me, there are certain things I will not do/agree to/ adjust to/or accept just for the sake of moving on down the road. 

James 4:17  "Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin."
