Presidential election. Are Americans that fearful that we need a father figure? Do we need to come together, as the "United" States to get things done?
Unless the silent majority rises up and gets rid of the liberal and p.c. policies we are doomed as the country we loved.
Hello M:
If, by father figure, you mean DISCIPLINARIAN, I agree. NOBODY thinks Trump is a warm and cozy father figure, do they?? And, truthfully, I have NO idea what Hillary represents. If either of them are elected, the country will be the loser..
So, I'm looking for the one who'll do the LEAST damage, and that's the one who'll pick the RIGHT Supreme Court Justices when the opportunity arises.

Republicans don't let such early childhood developmental issues color their choice for President. They're not looking for "daddy" and they're not looking for milk, cookies and an early afternoon nap while "the teacher" tucks them in and looks after them. That seems to be a Democrat thing these days . . .
Personally, I'm looking for someone that will "faithfully execute the duties of the office of the President of the United States of America" while "defending the Constitution of the United States of America". We don't know if Trump will do that but we can be fairly certain, based on her past actions, that Hillary will not; a leopard doesn't change its spots. If only the choice had been between Jim Webb and Ted Cruz we could all sleep better at night no matter the outcome of the contest (And I would probably have voted for Jim Webb.).
We need leadership and that is not what you get from community. Communities are best small groups of people who more similar and focused goals. The president needs to lead and keep us safe...............not worry about people being nice to each other and hurt feelings.
