A white lie can be more kindly than the brutal, naked truth. Would you tell a friend that you're not sure the style of a dress she is trying on quite suits her, or frankly that she looks like the back of a bus in it?

I'd say something like "you know that blue dress with the lace collar? I REALLY love that dress and how you look in it" or something like that. I would never say that she looks like the back of bus in it R though truth be told I'm giggling as I'm posting this. It's funny as he** but certainly not something you would ever say out loud to anyone let alone a friend. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday/Wednesday! :)
