You ask "why lie when the truth is evident"?

Why not? What could it hurt? When did a lie ever cause harm? Lying is good for all living things. Lying is positive hopeful helpful grand. Lying makes life worth living. Without lying there is no purpose to anything. Lies rock. Liars are rock stars with groupies who are dying to sleep with them.
