In the end was inventing the ATOMIC BOMB worth it? More harm than good done? In the end will inventing the INTERNET be worth it?

More harm than good?

A perfect vehicle for terrorists to communicate with one another and political LIARS to spread lies and foreign gubments to infiltrate and trick gullibles. Terrible has already happened. FAR WORSE is still to come.

Will the legacy of internet be as deplorable as the Atomic Bomb?

Or are homo saps delighted when more harm than good is done? Are homo saps evil at the core and eventually the evil is released as is being done in the current reality? Lots more evil ahead. Celebrate come on let's go.

Without the atomic bomb ... the war against Japan would have lasted much longer, and led to millions more deaths.
And we would have likely fought a WW3 against the Soviet Union ... or let Europe fall to the Soviets.
We wouldn't have microwave ovens, or medical technology such as MRI.

The internet is more a threat to tyrannical governments, than democracies.
That's why they block or heavily censure it.

Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply Walt. I think the case is out on the internet. We know what the Atomic Bomb did. The internet is still forming and being used more and more for devious reasons. I don't know when we will know definitely but for me right now though I LOVE it I wonder how much better a world we'd have right now without it? :)
