Any youthful hijinks/shananigans you committed way back when that you'd do again now as an adult?

Or wouldja be embarrassed ashamed humiliated because what you could get away with as a kid (when you don't know any better) you can't away with as an adult(when you do or SHOULD know better)?

The barging-in prodon pols who forced their way into a closed-door investigation made dam* fools of themselves! THERE WERE REPUBLICANS IN THE ROOM PARTICIPATING IN THE INVESTIGATION! THERE ARE ALWAYS CLOSED-DOOR SESSIONS WHEN CLASSIFIED SENSITIVE INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED.

But the MAIN reason it was a closed door session was because if it were out in the open then other witnesses would be able to coordinate their testimony with that of others which means they could be COLLUDING to tell a story that isn't true. You don't interview witnesses in front of other witnesses. Anybody KNOWS that. These goofballs thought they'd get brownie points with motormouth and maybe they did but they also made dam* fools of themselves and showed egregioius contempt and disrespect for the process. Dumbbells the lot of them. Will they do it again? Why not? It worked so well for them. Right?

No.  I don't try to relive anything.  To me you cannot go back.

I am me now. And that is what I want to be.  NOT ME THEN.

I remember. I reminisce. I relive what was wonderful then from time to time. It comforts me to do that. I remember in great detail sitting on the steps of HARVARD bank on a Sunday in Concord, Massachusetts munching on chips with my son who was 3 at the time. Watching the cars go by. He lives in Honolulu now. I remember back to times with my dad and my mom...both of whom are long gone...and smile at the memory. I remember when my baby sister and I used to wear our bathing suits in the summer and spray each other with the hose. Our "pool". I have many wonderful memories that I recall. Just exactly as I turn on Turner Classic Movies and watch Fred Astaire and Gingers dance..or Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse...or Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'conner. There will never again be any more like them. Or Robin Williams as Mork. Or Henry Winkler as THE FONZ! Or the Golden Girls all of whom except Betty White have passed away. Different strokes Sharon. My life would be one-dimensional if I only lived in the now 24/7. It gets texture and dimension when I return to those memories. When I watch an old episode of Bonanza it starts off with a map that includes CARSON CITY Nevada. My sister and brother-in-law live in Carson City now! Who knew that's where they'd end up? And so it goes. Thank you for your reply! :)
