How much would you have to be paid to be a SEAT FILLER at the funeral of someone you despised? Could you fake sad?

    People have been "seat fillers" at funerals for thousands of years.  To me it's a empty gesture.  A funeral is a time for the family and friends of the deceased (not the deceased person) to honor (pay respects) the one who has passed.  Having a seat filler (faker) - especially if it's an "enemy" - is disrespectful.  It does nothing to the deceased, rather it drives a knife into the hearts of those left behind.
