Yes, there aren't any that are really my cup of tea. I went to isidewith.com to see which political parties match my positions. The best match was a third party who I only agree with 69% of the time.
I had a very good learning day the other day m2c. An Answermugger (hartfire) told me she is Green Party. She is not an American so I guess the Green Party is in all countries. In the California Primary held June 7 the sample ballot we got in advance of the regular ballot showed other parties which I had NEVER paid any attention to. Of course there was Republican and Democrat. But there was also American Independent, Green and Peace and Freedom. I already knew about Libertarian. So I Googled the 3 that were new to me to find out about their platforms and guess what? I'm more Green Party or Peace and Freedom than Democrat! Who knew? I mean I feel really silly that I had never investigated it before. My folks were Democrats and we're Democrats and my kid is a Democrat. One of Jim's kids is a Republican and the other one belongs to a religion that does not believe in participating in politics so he is not affiliated with any political party. I'm going to have to do some heavy thinking about this. You were smart to investigate. I don't know if any party has ever

I will tell you what the point is from my perspective which is the only perspective I can experience. An Answermugger (not American) belongs to the Green Party. My sample ballot listed Democrat/Republican/American Independent/Green/Libertarian/Peace&Freedom. Because of her I investigated the Green Party and also the Peace&Freedom party and much to my surprise I find I am more Green Party or Peace and Freedom than I am a Democrat. I did not know that because I never bothered to take

I'm embarrassed to tell you that I never did that until yesterday. I know what the Republican/Democratic/Libertarian platforms are so I investigated American Independent/Green/Peace&Freedom and I find I am not so much a Democrat as I am either Green Party or

What do you think about the Green Party and the Peace&Freedom Party Step? I investigated their platforms and that of the American Independent Party which I had NEVER done before (which embarrasses me) and I found out I"m actually more Green Party or Peace&Freedom than I am a Democrat . I mean I'm only 78! I guess better late than never right?
