Think first then do or don't. Isn't that a standard intelligent MO for life for everyone?

Think first about the possible results of what you do/say. Think WORST CASE just in case then decide if it's worth it. If whatever "it" is could be embarrassing to you then DON'T DO IT. How hard is that to understand?

Obviously all the pols caught red-handed doing what they should not have done are perfect examples of what happens when you don't THINK FIRST. Why does politics attract so many with tawdry embarrassing pasts whose thinking apparatus does not function in their own best self-interest? Peculiar oddballs or odd peculiarballs or both.

Few people stop to consider that what they're doing now will have a bearing on their lives in the future.  Most people don't even think they will be here in the future (regardless of their age).  Their motto is, "live for the moment".  When someone wants to satisfy their carnal lusts, they don't care about "tomorrow", they only know "now".  Rarely when one is one having an affair do they think about how it may taint their image.  They just don't want to get caught NOW.

That's what separates the baby kids from the adults. Baby kids like the trump want what they want RIGHT NOW and will hissy fit and tantrumize until they get it. Now the trump is an old man in his 70's but you wouldn't know from his actions and words. A pimply faced hot to trot 13 year old who is still demanding he get his way OR ELSE. It is not becoming on such a man but that is the very best he can do. God help us futurely. Thank you for your reply Shuhak! More fires breaking out here in the south. You're okay still? 13- year old?  I don't think he's that mature.

No new fires up here.  Winds are calm and humidity is expected to raise slowly through mid-month.
Are you close to the fires down there?

No thankfully. We're about 50-70 miles away from the closest ones so far. Our little community is on flat ground and there is no appreciable vegetation around. You see an occasionally tree here and there..usually a palm tree. When we chose this place we didn't think about anything like fires or floods. So we lucked out! Thank you for your reply Shuhak. Glad you're still okay. Hope that lasts. You've had more than your share of inconvenience and loss. Sheesh. :(
