No. They are just the only ones who brag/obsess about it. I'd like to tell you that I would be right by your side excon but the truth is guns scare the crap outta me. I don't know if I told you this but I held a revolver in my hands just once. I was 10 years old. My dad used to work nights. I was always mature for my age so my dad took a gun from someplace...I never even knew we had one. He told me he wanted to show me how to use it just in case. I told him I didn't want to learn but he said he needed me to be a grownup. He put the gun in my hand and I started shaking and then crying and I couldn't stop. That was 68 years ago and I still remember how terrified I was. My dad immediately removed the gun from my hand and I have no idea where he put it but we never discussed it again. A gun in my hands would be very dangerous. Gun-wise I am still that 10 year old little girl who doesn't want anything to do with them or be anywhere near them or anyone who has one

That's fine.. Some of us are cut out to be warriors.. We do that just so you can stay home and live your life.. I was born in the west.. My hero was John Wayne. In his cowboy movies, he carried a Winchester lever action model 73 - the gun that won the west.. I cut my teeth on that gun.
I was an NRA member too. All they did back then was teach safety and sell targets.. What's not to like?
