The stupid dumbs say that once someone recants you cannot believe a word he/she says. A PROVEN LIAR. Anyone notice the wrong there?

When dozens of other people have testified UNDER OATH and the testimonies all say the same thing the recanter who told a lie opposite of the truth recants the lie and supports what every other UNDER OATH testifier said.

Now any LOGICAL person will know that when a LIE is admitted and refuted and replaced with the TRUTH it is apt to reflect ALL THE TESTIMONIES OF THE TRUTHTELLERS. DUH. Do you really need a picture?

It is a significant indication of the lack of intelligence of those who insist once a liar always a liar. They are  NOT equipped to think at all only to parrot instructions and mantra and schtick and ideological propaganda none of which require any brain at all. Only a mouth equipped with sound or a broken record stuck in the same groove that repeats repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats.

    Call me narrow-minded, but if a person lies to me once, I tend not to believe much else they say.  In Sondland's case, he lied and told the truth only when so many others corroborated the initial allegations.  Absent the others' testimony, I believe Sondland would have let his original testimony stand, which means he would have gone with the lie.

    Not at all L. That is how your brain works. Mine works opposite. If you lie and are caught and you recant why would you lie again to compound the trouble you got into for lying? I believe the "restatement". Of course they are forced to tell the truth because when they tell the lie and are caught it would be the height of insanity to tell another lie. Now am I saying that no one ever does? No of course not. But where you are apt to not believe anything someone who lied said? I am to believe a restatement that is in line with all other truthtellers. I have no logical reason to do otherwise. That's the way MY MIND WORKS. Thank you for your reply. Different strokes.
