If a company is paying $1.20/hr for workers, WHY would they come back here where they'd have to pay, say, $15/hr??  The jobs left NOT because of trade deals or who the president is..  They left because OUR time in the sun was over..  We had it GREAT between 1945 and 1970..  That wasn't because we were so DESERVING of high wages..  It was because WW II DESTROYED the worlds manufacturing base EXCEPT for ours.   When the world caught up, we lost.

Now, that's not empirically true.  We COULD have stayed ahead of the world.  We always did..  Instead we STOPPED building.  We STOPPED investing.  We thought tightening the belt was the way to prosperity..  But, NOOO...  You were an Answerbagger, weren't you?  Do you remember HOW it felt just before they closed their doors..   You could SEE it coming..
