    OMG!!!!!!!
It brings a tear of sadness to my eye.
There are few things I hate but this one of them.
I HATE it when people take a beautiful song and belittle it by putting a twist on it and making it sound like trash.
Yes.  I totally agree.  This a BIG ODD.  Better yet, this is a tragedy.  They may as well have defaced a memorial. :( :(.

The original of this song is one of my favoritest songs, ever.

I hate that you think that was a beautiful song to begin with.  OH GOD.  Kill me now or at least puncture my ear drums.

Oh you haven't even began to hear the "sap" side of me.  You think that's bad, put your earplugs in.  There's more to come:

I didn't think "begun" was an actual word?!  I thought it was bad pronunciation.

So true!  But, why?... when I have you?
    I'm just playin' around. :) :)

Remember the old days when we had dictionaries with an enormous amount of words inside and their tenses?
My grammie used to have us find a random word, spell it correctly, and write it in a sentence.
We did this every time we visited.
"Began" must not have been a word I ever picked. ;)

Anyway, she had one of those, Incredibly Huge, dictionaries that sat on a stand with a step up to read it.  It is still the biggest book I have ever seen.

This giggle is on me.  Sorry.
    :) :)

Began Begun. LOL. My parents had the Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, which we kept on a countertop and was maybe triple the thickness of the Manhattan phone book (remember those?), and was printed on very thin paper.

    Exactly!!
What was up with those pages?  I know exactly what you are talking about.  I think the ink was the only thing that kept them together.  Yet, they weren't see through, just treated with something.
The days when people cared about their speaking patterns, word usages, and writing skills.
I think when you utilized those skills, it didn't show status.  It showed dignity and appreciation for communication and the English language.
I'm not sure those rules still hold true these days. :(

Basically, it's part of how computers and the Internet have changed the world.

I have heard every single version of anything to do with rock and roll.  And THIS?  This is boring. Beyond boring.  How many times do they have to try and bring back noisy garage bands.  Snore.  That song sucked to begin with and this cover did not improve the situation.

Continued from above "tappin' into Merlin's favorite sappin'."

It's o.k.  You can take your earplugs out now.  I could go on but I must go to work.  I hope I didn't ruin your day....
Instead, maybe you like some of these, too?
